Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Kern County is a not-for-profit organization and client of BHK. The organization speaks for abused and neglected children in the juvenile dependency process. Through the use of highly trained volunteers, the CASA program seeks to provide every child who needs an advocate with a voice in the court process.

Houchin Community Blood Bank is a not-for-profit organization and a client of BHK.  Houchin Community Blood Bank is committed to being the sole provider of a safe and adequate blood supply in Kern County. Houchin supplies all of the blood supply to Kern County's hospitals. Blood is also provided to private cancer and blood disease treatment facilities, dialysis centers and home health agencies specializing in home transfusions.

Kern Economic Development Corporation (KEDC) is a private not-for-profit company and client of BHK. KEDC is dedicated to ensuring a diverse and strong economic climate for all businesses in Kern County. They recruit new businesses to Kern County, help established businesses with relocation and/or expansion efforts, and work with local companies to provide economic data, workforce information and facilitation of the regulatory process.

New Advances for People with Disablities (NAPD) is a not-for-profit, community-oriented service company and client of BHK.  NAPD specialize in providing outstanding and creative programs for children and adults with developmental disabilities. NAPD's focus and driving influence is to promote independence and to make a difference in their client’s personal and community lives.

Special Treatment Education and Prevention Services, Inc. (STEPS) is a nonprofit organization and client of BHK.  STEPS provides Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and other services in metropolitan Bakersfield with the goal of making the community safer by working with those who have been convicted of a DUI.  STEPS adult Driving Under the Influence Programs (DUIP) have provided services to thousands of Kern County residents over the years. Additionally, STEPS is the only program in Kern County currently providing Driving Under the Influence services to those under 18.
